One of the most important milestones for three-year-olds is their readiness to develop socialization skills, self-control and independence. Each of these represent an important steppingstone toward kindergarten readiness. The Threes Program encourages the growth of these key skills by supporting children as they learn to interact in a group setting, while balancing their desire for independence.
Developmental Milestones
While it is extremely important to remember that all children develop at their own pace, below are some typical developmental milestones for three year-olds. Teachers support and build upon milestones by providing learning opportunities throughout our Experience Centers while also facilitating social interactions by modeling communication and self-advocacy skills.
